有书法作品入选“第二届 友爱和平 – 中日书画名家艺术交流展”在日本东京都国立美术馆。

On December 9, 2019, his calligraphy work “Heart Sutra” scroll sold for 172,500 yuan at Beijing Huizhen International Auction House. A traditional Chinese painting, “Looking Ahead,” sold for 172,500 yuan at auction.
On July 29, 2020, at the National Palace Museum Art Auction in Taipei, a long scroll of calligraphy, “The Book of Songs,” sold for 4,636,800 New Taiwan Dollars, equivalent to 1,103,500 yuan.
On August 16, 2020, a traditional Chinese painting, “Mother and Child Tiger,” sold for 517,500 yuan at the Beijing Yu Bao Jia He International Auction House.
On August 18, 2021, a traditional Chinese painting, “A Long and Flowing History,” sold for 860,000 yuan at the Beijing Contemporary Painting and Calligraphy Auction, and “Landscape Like a Painting” sold for 1,360,000 yuan.
On December 3, 2021, a traditional Chinese painting, “Tiger Lying in Blessed Land Listening to Zen,” sold for 500,000 yuan at Poly Auction House.
On December 12, 2021, the traditional Chinese painting “Rising Sun” was auctioned for 1.84 million RMB at the Beijing Yu Bao Jia He International Auction House, and the calligraphy scroll “Short Song” was auctioned for 2.3 million RMB.

September 25, 2025, at Queens Auction House in the United States, my calligraphy work “One Hundred Blessings” sold for RMB 24.2 million.
On December 4, 2025, at DuPont auction house in the United States, my calligraphy work “Looking Up and Down, I Have No Shame Before Heaven and Earth; Praise and Criticism Will Be Judged by History” sold for 13,216,700 yuan.
On December 16, 2025, at Christie’s auction house, my calligraphy work “Treasure Land Generates Gold” sold for 10 million yuan.
Some of my calligraphy works were selected for the “Second Friendship and Peace – Sino-Japanese Calligraphy and Painting Masters Art Exchange Exhibition” at the Tokyo National Museum of Art, Japan.
Some of my calligraphy and painting works were selected for the issuance of a commemorative stamp album for the “Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China” large-scale philatelic products.
I have also participated in overseas calligraphy and painting exhibitions, including one in Bangkok, and some of my works have been permanently collected by art centers abroad. Hong Kong Modern Culture Press published my personal calligraphy and painting collection, “Selected Works of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masters: Liu Qi’s Calligraphy and Painting Collection,” and some of my calligraphy works were included in commemorative stamps issued in Europe and America (the United States, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria).
